Gormiti Eclissi Suprema
The series is the 10th and was issued in September 2009 picking up the legacy of the Elemental Fusion,
with sculpts that are very similar in size and proportions and the same gimmick too: a little chip embedded under a foot with a different
pre-recorded phrase for every figure, when you place them on the Altar of the Eclipse you can hear'em shout their names!
The series is based on the 2nd season of the cartoon and this time alongside the usual tribes with 6 members (Earth, Forest, Sea, Air, Volcano) we see the return of the Light and Darkness people, with 3 figures per tribe, one of each is to be found exclusively inside the Altar of Eclipse blister pack, exactly like some of the Elemental Fusion exclusives. We don't have the Magic Eggs though, so less figures to hunt down, that's relaxing a little... Not for too long though, because there are 4 exclusive figures for the magazine stands, specifically variants of the Lords of Forest, Sea, Air and Earth all in alternate poses and without the golden armor.
Let's do some math then, 34 regular figures, 4 magazine stands esclusives and 2 Altar of the Eclipse exclusives bring us 40 new figures to collect. The color combinations are nothing unusual: yellow/red for the Lava tribe, orange/blue for the Sea tribe, brown/green for the Forest tribe, white/blue for the Air tribe, light grey/dark grey for the Earth tribe, white/gold for the Light tribe and black/purple for the Darkness tribe. The paint used is also a bit more shiny than the previous series. They are found in the usual blind bags, 2-packs, 4-packs, 5-packs as well as playsets (with exclusives gold and silver figures of the Lords from the 9th series). Toy Stores Figures
