S.L.U.G. Zombies
Could you have enough of Zombies? The answer (other than pretty obvious) seems negative, judging by the HUGE array of products that flooded the market in the last years.
Jakks Pacific tries to jump on the "Zombie Bandwagon" introducing this toyline of mono-colored minifigures, heavily influenced, starting from the name, by successful lines of the past like MUSCLE or Monster in my Pocket. S.L.U.G. means Scary Little Ugly Guys, and they really are! They stand 2.5 inches and they are molded in a nice neon green (doesn't glow in the dark though) the plastic used is lightly flexible, like a mix between MUSCLE and MIMP. This line is advertised like "Series #1" in fact, when they were presented at Toy Fair 2012, there were much more zombies characters displayed alongside human characters. The humans were made of a flesh color that resembles MUSCLE in a very good way, so we can expect future series if the toys do well on the shelves. They're sold in 3-packs, 12-pack and blind-packs.
4 figures are available exclusively inside the 3-packs and 4 inside the 12-pack, currently I don't know the ratio of the blind-packs.
The leaflet inside every pack is a "Zombie Guide" with all the figures' names, who they were before their zombie life, their likes and dislikes.
They are available only in US for now, but I think there is a strong possibility that the line will be sold overseas if it will be successful enough. 3 Dec. 2012 UPDATE
Thanks to my mate Soupie from MinifiguresXD you can see a complete coverage of Series 2 and 3, now Jakks added a new faction, the "Survivors", casted in the same material but in flesh color! The packages are the same, blister 3-packs, a coffin 12-packs and mini-coffin 1 blind packs, like Series 1, there are several figures available exclusively in blister or in the coffin pack, speaking of Series 2:

Another update for our beloved pocket zombies, this time we take a look at a small series of 12 figures that Jakks released at christmas time last year. There are 8 entirely new christmas-themed zombie figures along with the 4 human figures that were already released in Series 2.
The 4 3-packs blister have an updated logo and graphic showing christmas ornaments and the ratio of the figures is 2 zombie and 1 human for pack, the humans included are: Gator Jones, Blazin' Basel, Buck Wilde and Captain Payback. Got my 12 pack the other day and I am officially SOLD on these guys. So cool. I hope these are successful and that we end up getting the other varieties like the monsters and aliens.
