Gormiti Luxion
Another hit on stores by Giochi Preziosi/Gig with a brand new series of the successful Gormiti toys.
This time we see a total departure from the last series Morphogenesis (that features swivel arms/legs and a transform gimmick) to static poses with no articulation whatsoever. The gimmick for this series is a beautiful Glows in the Dark effect, using not some paint apps (like the 2nd Atomic series) but molding their bodies with GITD plastic directly. For every tribe they used a different colored plastic with a nice glow effect in: yellow (Rock people), green (Forest people), blue (Sea people), light blue (Wind people) and orange (Evil people).
The tribes are formed by 6 characters, all of them have a name except one, for army-building purpose
(their size is a little smaller than the regular figures and I really like it, I always thought that the regular Gormiti size is way too big).
In addition there are two exclusive characters to Italy: Cingolo and Electrowatt, they are sold only in magazine stands and they are part of the Tribe of Evil.
It's worth mentioning that this series is sold in the classic bags with a small transparent window that let you see the character inside! The bags found in magazine stands don't have it though. Inside of bags we can found a leaflet, a card and a figure.
Furthermore there are two more characters, Leander (Lord of Good) and Drakonius (Lord of Evil) sold in the Globosphere playsets, a sphere with a small Wood's light that "charges" your gormita of power and thus can glows in the dark.

I bought one box of them and they are really nice looking figures.
The glow part is so cool that i want it to be dark all the time so i can see them glow so beutiful :-) Feb 05, 2012 15:38:29
